How do you calculate total measurement?

We calculate the total square footage not only by plus each room’s dimensions. Normally, we will fringe all the walls and use software to calculate it. Therefore, all the spaces inside the fringe will be plus for the total measurement (even inner walls, spaces that are oblique or ringed by walls).
